Saturday morning Brian and I decided to be spontaneous and take a road trip. So we packed up Abby and a couple of snacks and headed to Turner Falls in Oklahoma. Neither of us had ever been, and we desperately needed an adventure. We took the long way there, through the back roads of Wylie and Allen and then up 380 across to 35. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time being together.
We were kind of disappointed in the actual falls, though. They allow people to swim and so it ruins the beauty of it, and it's pretty hard to take pictures, which we love to do. Brian managed to get a great shot of the falls. He takes great scenic pictures.
We couldn't leave without sticking Abby's feet in the water.

WOW..... That is Spontaneous!!!!! I am such a planner I don't think I could ever do that! I think I spend so much time planning that we never get to the actual event!!!! I have heard of Turner Fallas, but never been there either. Looks like you had some fun, and got some good pictures dispite the swimmers:)
I wish we were that spontaneous these days. Looks like fun. Beautiful shot of the falls!
I love road trips!
I am glad you guys had a quick get away. I love going to new places. Kenny and I went to Turner Falls last year and had a great time. It was winter, the water level was low and there weren't any swimmers.
How beautiful! I've never been there, but we've definitely got to go!!!!
