Abby Has a Pool

We got a pool for Abby yesterday but the water was a little cold so Abby barely got in. But today she had a blast! I think she threw everything in that pool but the kitchen sink, and she actually didn't do a whole lot of swimming, but that's Abby for you.

It started raining pretty hard and she stayed out there the whole time while Mom stood in the doorway and took pictures. By the time I dragged her in she was soaked to the bone but very happy.

Uh, oh. Her favorite thing. Slimy rocks. *sigh*

This is kind of a cool, random picture that I took and tweaked a little on my crappy photo editing program. I'm dying to get photoshop.

That last picture is indeed a very cute picture! You know, while Photoshop is very cool, you could also try Photoshop Elements, which I know a lot of people use who aren't graphic designers and they like to use a lot (and it's not nearly as expensive). OR, if you want just a photo editor, I've discovered Adobe Lightroom, which basically can help you enhance photos, and do a little bit of editing to them (like remove scratches), etc. It's not that expensive either, and fairly easy to learn. Here's an example of what I did recently: http://www.nonchalant.nu/uploaded_images/yukibeforeafter-793378.jpg

That is why I have started using a bucket of scalding hot water mixed with a little bit of cold hose water. The kids don't come in purple. She is so cute in that pool. I bet she will love it. You always take the cutest pictures too!!

*YAY* for Abby and her pool. After that last post I'm glad you got her one, hee hee. Looks like fun. I think I'll go out and get Brooklyn one too after we're moved in next month. Great idea!

the whole point of being in the pool was to get wet, wasn't it? What does it matter if its from rain for the pool, wet is wet. Very cute.
