Have you ever...?

Hvae you ever wanted to take one of your household appliances, yank it out of the electrical socket, and throw it out the window?

Our vacuum sucks, because it doesn't suck. And we need a new one.

So do you have a good vacuum recommendation? Please don't say a Dyson, cause they're too expensive and it will just make me depressed.

I was going to recommend a Miele, but I think they're more expensive than Dyson... sorry!

Don't have recommendations. But I LOVED that you said, "our vacuum sucks because it doesn't suck."

We have a Kenmore canister vacuum that is working OK, but you do have to lug the canister all over the house. And who knows if they're all as good as the one that we have- we might have gotten lucky!

I HATE my vacuum. It takes 30 minutes to vacuum my living room! If you find a good one, let me know!

I feel your frustration! We used to buy vacuums every 6 months because they dont suck well. Well one day Jason went to some vacuum store in Plano off parker and custer. And we got the best vacuum ever. They actually did not recommend Dyson which I thought was weird. They did a demo next to a dyson and some others and this one blew them all out of the water! The one we have cost about $250 w/a lifetime warranty and has so much power than a dyson and all those fancy vacuums. The only thing is its not as pretty but boy I have been so happy especially with pets its a lifesaver. Its been over a year and we have had no clogs or problems. Its called Sanitaire by Electrolux.

I love my canister kenmore--it was purchased in 1994. A part broke on it and we bought 3 other vacuums that all lasted less than a year before just fixing up the old one. I don't like the bagless vacs--I prefer taking the bag out and dumping the whole thing instead of pouring out the little container and getting dirt everywhere again.
