Last Mandie said, her contractions were less than 3 minutes apart and getting pretty strong. They may not even have time to prep for a c-section! She was just pulling up to the hospital, that was about 20 minutes ago!
Remember how you said you wished he would come early and fast so you could have a VBAC?! Be careful what you wish for chicka!!! I hope everything turns out wonderfully!!!!!

Mandie just got out of surgery and the baby is 8 pounds 1 ounce, 20 inches long, and she said "round and sweet." Obviously mom and baby are doing just fine! Way to go Mandie!
Check the Fowkes Family blog for some quick photos of the baby (since I can't post on Mandie's blog for her!) I'm sure there will be more photos soon! He is very cute, I forget how small babies are, and has Mandie's nose, looks a bit like Abby did as a baby, but you can definitely tell he's a boy! Congrats Mandie and Brian! We love you!
No problem! We're Mandie's younger sisters. Mandie was going to add me as an author to her blog so I could post for her, but they are going home this morning so expect to see new pics soon! I'm so excited for them, he's so cute! Oh, and for anyone that hasn't looked back at the Fowkes blog, they have a name! Since Mandie basically picked out Abby's name, Brian got to make the final decision: Carter Brian McMurdie.

Just yesterday Mandie was bemoaning the fact that she had to schedule when her baby was born, and she just wished it were a suprise. Well, suprise!

Yay for the new McMurdie! We still haven't heard what the little tyke's name is for sure yet!
