when the diaper won't stay on?
She's starting to take it off ALL the time. Right now she's walking around the house with no bottoms on and lovin' every minute of it.
Do I go to pullups? (expensive) Do I try to potty train her? (she's not even two yet!) Do I glue the diapers on?
Advice, mothers!

Potty-train the little booger! Carrie was potty-trained when she was 18 months! It's NEVER too early to start!
Does she still try to take it off even when she has pants on? I have to keep pants on Ben most of the time, otherwise he'll start to rip at his diaper. But with pants or shorts on he usually doesn't mess with it. But I say go for the potty training! A guy at work and his wife potty trained their triplets when they were 18 months old!
Every morning when I come in to get her, she has her diaper halfway tugged out of her clothes and everything is wet. And she'll try to do the same thing during the day. It especially happens after she's peed or pooped in her diaper.
I have been waiting to see what others said because we have been having the same problem with Mary. Yesterday I finally broke down and put her in a pull up. I borrowed my sisters little potty chair and started trying to get Mary to use it today. I do not know if she will but I figure it is better than dealing with messes from a pulled off diaper. If she seems ready, I say go for it. :-) Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
Sheesh, I don't know but when you have it figured out PLEASE let me know. Brooklyn is totally over the diaper thing. I"m trying to figure this one out myself.
Hi, I'm Molly's sister-in-law, by the way. My son Ethan does the same exact thing. He can pull down his shorts and take off his diaper faster than I can keep them on. I've noticed that he has a hard time with certain pairs of shorts so i make sure that I put those on him more often. Also whenever he does that I make him sit on his potty chair. Just in case. Most of the time it's just me giving him the stern look and telling him to keep his diaper on. You may want to find big size onesies. That may work. If everything else fails, duct tape. We haven't had to resort to that yet, but we might.
All excellent ideas! Carrie actually started potty training at 16 months and went to nursery in little tiny panties. But if you're going to potty train no pullups. Here's my bit of big sis advice. Our 1st 3 kids used cloth diapers & were potty trained completely by 2 1/2. The last 2 used disposables and had a lot of trouble even at 3 & 4. I know you don't want to deal with the hassle, but I'm a firm believer in using cloth when they're old enough to care and realize how awful they are. They are very uncomfortable and she'll go potty more quickly. It's a pain for the parent, but it's that whole sacrifice concept--a little pain now for a big blessing later! If you just can't stomach the cloth diapers, use big girl panties and let her get the feedback of stuff running down her leg. Again, gross for the parent, but the immediate consequence is a big motivator.
I would certainly potty train. She seem sto know the sensation of feeling wet/dirty already. She just needs to know where to put it instead of leaving it in the diaper. We are starting to train Jaxon, as well. He seems totally ready to start. My friend told me what she did with her kids and I tried it for Chance and it worked like a charm...It's the 'go naked for the morning' approach. It worked so well for Chance and I really think it could work for Jaxon, as well. Call me for more details... Good Luck!
Sounds like potty-training time to me! Some kids are ready really early. I have a friend who potty-trained her little girl at about 18 months. Do it whenever they're ready. She certainly seems to be!
