fulfilled

I got released as primary music leader last week, so this week was my first time in the "outside world" in almost two years. I already miss my calling, and I actually went in to primary to visit for a minute during sunday school cause I didn't quite know what to do with myself. But Relief Society was wonderful and I realized that, although primary is fun, I don't quite get the spiritual high there that I get from learning doctorine and hearing the testimonies of other women. I left church today fulfilled, and that hasn't happened in a long time.

I quite agree. I'm glad that we are able to serve in a variety of different places and capacities, but RS is a special place to be filled. (I think it might have something to do with the fact that you generally don't have your kids with you.) :)

I had a very similar experience when I left that calling. It was really nice to be the student instead of the teacher. However, I have to give you props for loving your calling as primary music leader because I think it's one of the hardest callings EVER!

I also think that having a kid that's old enough to be in nursery finally makes a HUGE difference at church! I was so excited to be back in RS after I was released from Primary, only to have to deal with a rambunctious toddler! It really makes a difference being able to sit and enjoy the lesson AND being able to sit with your hubby during Sunday School!

Wow! You are seriously one of the best primary choristers I've ever known! Those kids are going to miss you but it'll be fun for you to do something new.
