dear abby,

I'll try to forget that yesterday you learned how to get out of the backyard and led Carter on an escape twice. (by the way, you'll never get very far.)

I'll try to forget that yesterday you wrote on our van's dashboard with black permanent marker.

I'll try to forget that yesterday you used my stamps as stickers and put them all over Carter's body.

I'll try to forget that yesterday you were practicing the fine art of temper tantruming.

I'll try to forget that yesterday I had to put you in time out way too many times.

Cause today you're just so darn sweet and wonderful.

Oooo, don't forget it! Write it down and make her feel guilty when she has kids of her own! (J/K, LOL!)

Ahhh...a sleeping child! My favorite! I can't believe she did all of that in one day! Tommy was like that on Thursday, but not as bad! Thank goodness he is better today! Isn't being a parent wonderful?

Goodness, she rivals Matilda. She does look adorable though.

Honestly, that brought tears to my eyes. It was one of the first poems that I have paid attention to all the way until the end! You are so good with words and with a camera.
Give your family a hug for me!
