I think that's why mom timed herself doing different chores--then she'd know what she really did and didn't have time to do. But really, only 5 minutes--I'll have to try that at home since my dishwasher has been left loaded with clean dishes for 3 days now!
because the task is so repetitive and monotonous it feels like the movie "Ground Hog Day" every time you have to load and unload it! also you know once you unload it you must reload it!
