Have you ever priced Photoshop? It's SO expensive! So instead we use this FREE program called Triscape FxFoto to improve some of our pictures. It doesn't work miracles, but it does have some cool features like reducing red eye, feathering pictures, like the one of Abby below. It also allows you to lighten and darken, crop and frame your pictures. Here's a before and after:

YAY! That's so awesome. Thanks for passing on the good find!
I will have to tell Steve about that:) Thanks!
If you're willing to spend a little money, you can always try Paint Shop Pro (they also have a photo version), which is a Photoshop for cheapskates. Actually, I like it quite a lot. I used it, along in conjunction with Photoshop (which I didn't necessarily pay for, and that's all I'm saying) to edit pics and graphics for my site. Many of the controls are similar to Photoshop, and for what you get, I think it's a great bargain.

Thanks Steph! Our camera is a pretty good one. Its the Canon Power Shot S1 IS if you want to look it up.
There's a photography website that I go to a lot and I get super depressed when I look at all the amazing pictures other people take. My stuff is junk compared to theirs!
