GiGi is Abby's lovey. I bought him at Walmart on clearance for $2 after Valentines Day last year. He was just a cheap little puppy that I thought would look cute in Abby's room, but Abby saw something more in him. She took to him immediately and he has since become her favorite friend. 
She isn't totally dependent on him thankfully, and he generally stays at home so we don't have to fight that battle. Yet. But he gets attacked by stickers, gets his diaper changed, pushed around in a stroller, and yes, even thrown in the toilet. But his most important job is to be her sleeping buddy.
I took this picture of her today and for some reason it touched me. I know it's silly, but it was almost like GiGi was telling me, "Hey Mom, I got this." If she's sick, needs comfort, or even a pillow, I know he's there. And that's a comforting feeling.

Aw... that's so cute! Ben doesn't have a lovey, but he does have a puppy George that he sleeps with. How long has Abby had hers? I think if Ben could have a lovey it would be his bottle. He fell asleep finishing off his milk one night and wouldn't let me take the bottle from him and then when I went to check on him later the bottle was still in his hands. Kids are the greatest!
That's cute I used to have a stuffed hippo that I loved. lol. I bet it is a real nigtmare when she throws it in the toilet... What is she laying on because that sheet is cute!!

That sheet is cute, and could she not totally pass for Ben in that first photo! It's so funny how much they still look alike!
Cute! Anna has a small Squirtle bean bag toy that she sleeps with. It doesn't leave her bed. Tommy has Twigs, which is a super cute giraff beanie baby that I got from the free pile from Action Group! He got it for Christmas that year and LOVES it! Although my kids sleep with these animals, they have to have a blanket! Anna is REALLY bad about the blanket. She takes one in the car where ever we go, but it doesn't leave the car. To punish her, all I have to do is take away a blanket and she goes into complete hysterics! She's 6! Tommy isn't so bad, though. He is only attached to one blanket (Anna has six), and he's fine with leaving it, just as long as he has a toy in his hands!
oh man evan is so dependant on his lovie its ridiculous...and kinda cute. he cuddles his lovie the same way abby cuddles hers. cute.
Stinkin' cute. Ty has monkey friend and loves him to death. He shares his food and drink with him and never goes to sleep without him. I have back up monkey friends just in case we lose him and we have before.
The back-up thing is a problem for us cause I think he might be one of a kind. I've looked online to see if I could find him, but no luck. My only hope is that they sell the same puppy next Valentines Day, or that Abby will accept another stuffed animal into her life when GiGi retires.

Abby is too cute! Chrystal adopted "Doggie" at about this age and still takes him with her on vacation and sleeps with him every night.
