But getting a picture of my two kids together is har-uud. Abby was on board, but Carter? Not so much.

Here's Abby explaining to me why it was absolutely important for her to go "this" way instead of "that" way. It gives you a glimpse of how girly she is, especially her mannerisms.

And here's Carter being all-boy.

One of my favorite activities is to pack up the kids and go exploring at different nearby parks. I love their curiosity and wide-eyed wonder, and I love being able to capture it.
Side-note: I'm experimenting with some different editing techniques and gave these a vintage look. I'm not sure it's my style, but its fun to play around. I'd like to know what you think.

Love these! The vintage look is perfect for the setting.
I love these:) With Abby's outfit and the woods I think it's perfect!
Very cute pictures! I also love the fact that you're all wearing shorts... we're still in jackets over here!
I really like the editing you did. The one of Abby smelling the flowers is heavenly and is definitely a framer! Very cute!
Those are great.
I love to come here to read your blog AND to see how your picutures are so full of life. BTW ... glad to hear surgery went well. When we lived there we had Dr. Bauer too. Great man.
I like them. But I don't love them... Part of what I love about your pictures is the light that you bring to them. The other color schemes have more life to them. The vintage seems to dull that life. Then again, I am not an expert on photography
