I don't think a week goes by where I don't go through a closet or toy box and end up with a bag of stuff to give or throw away. Its AMAZING how much we acquire, and we're minimalists by the worlds standards! I know its healthy to de-junk once in a while and make sure your home is clutter free, but I think I've got a problem. I do it all the time. There is strange satisfaction I get from cleaning out, bagging up and taking away crap we don't need. Its almost theraputic in a way. The only other person I know like this is my sister Melinda and she could possibly be worse than me!
Anyone else out there an obsessive purger?
Disclaimer: This does not always mean my house is clean.

Your title scared me for a minute....
Nope... I am not a purger of junk. I am a receiver of junk... which is not any fun now that we are trying to move!
I always have a bag in the garage for stuff that I'm giving away. It's just so wonderful to get rid of unwanted junk! I'm so proud of your purging!
I love to purge. I hate clutter. But as our kids get older, I have to be more considerate of what I rid of let them hang on to it for a time but one day when they are not home, out it goes
im the same way. I de junk once a day. as of right now I dont think I have a single item of junk in my home.
I agree totally. I don't let the girls keep fast food toys, and I can't wait for the baby to get big enough that I can start getting rid of some of the big stuff.
Do you want to come to my house? We need some help with that!
i Have a constant bag in my closet going...when it is full I get rid of it:) I am the same...I LOVE to get rid of stuff:) P & Steve do not...so it is a constant battle!
I think I have too much of Mom & Jared in me. I can do it, but it's reaaaaalllly hard. I am better than either of my parents, but that's not saying much!
I wish I was like that. I just collect the stuff I need to throw out with dim hopes of giving it away some day...
I have a bag of stuff ready to go to the Salvation Army that sits in our living room. I seem to fill a new bag weekly! With outgrown clothing, toys, and other accumulated "stuff" that just needs to go. And yes, it feels GOOD when it goes!
I used to accumulate a lot of stuff, but since I got married I purge a lot. It's mostly Eric's stuff though. hahaha. Both of my sisters are total purgers and they are both coming next month, I hope they help me get rid of a lot of stuff.
