Little mamma's boys do grow up.
They stop the random cuddles.
They resist mommy kisses.
They insist on doing things themselves.
They go off to school and lose that special time alone with mommy.
I know that's the way it goes.
I just didn't think I would have such a hard time with it.
I feel like I'm clinging onto little Carter, but you so desperately want to be big boy Carter.
But guess what, buddy?
I'm not going to stop my random cuddles.
I'll kiss you despite your resistance.
I will guide you along as you try to do things yourself.
And I will make moments where we can spend time together.
Because you will always be my little boy.
