Last year I bought GiGi on clearance after Valentines Day for like $2. I just thought he was cute. I never thought Abby would latch onto him like he did. Sad thing is, GiGi's not holding up so well, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find another one like him when he needed to "retire." Well luckily Walmart is carrying him again this year, so I bought GiGi II (and maybe a III and IV later). Abby noticed the difference but seemed impressed by his new coat, so its all good. Anyway, its kinda sad, but old GiGi is going in Abby's remberance box. So I know this is totally sappy, but I read "The Velveteen Rabbit" the other day and now I kinda feel guilty for putting GiGi away. Maybe I'm more attached to GiGi than Abby is.

tyler has monkey friend, actually two since he found my hiding place with the "stash". he loves them and would never let me replace them. i have two extras hidden for emergency. i am currently sleeping with one, twisting it, washing it and basically matting down the fur so it looks like his. what a mother won't do! just like you said. i think i love monkey friend as much as ty does!
I think this is so cute! I wish Ben had a lovey, but he's just not interested! I'm glad you found another one!
That's really exciting that you found another one! Maybe you can just rotate them out so one can get washed occasionally.
