So I think I am officially out of the loop. I had no idea what Britney Spears had done until I read People magazine waiting in line at the store yesterday! Oh my gosh! And then today I turned on the TV and saw the Golden Globe awards announcements and was really confused. I knew there was a writers strike, but I didn't know it was affecting the Globes. It makes me wonder what else I've missed...
But then again, I think I'm okay with being clueless.

I never watch the news b/c I have so little TV time to myself at night that I would much rather watch a good show:)
Mandie, can I tell you who to vote for if you're not paying close attention? I sure don't want you to cancel out my vote! (or heaven forbid you vote for McCain or Hillary!)
Okay so I know you wouldn't do that, but still! Can you tell I'm seriously concerned here?
I am keeping up with the election, for the most part. Although I'm probably not going to be able to vote. Since we've lived on Mason, the state of TX won't recognize me as a legal voter. I've gone to vote twice and been denied both times, and I've registered to vote AGAIN since that time and was denied. It's really screwed up and makes me really mad. Changing our address to Atlanta for a few months isn't going to help the situation either...
FYI, the writers’ strike has probably killed the spring season of most TV shows and if they do not settle soon (which there is a snowball’s chance...) next fall’s lineup will be affected. That is probably only the tip of the iceberg. Not that some of those shows wouldn’t be better off in the trash, of course.
