I have lots to blog about, like our new car and Abby's surpise from Grandma, but right now I've got Carter on the brain. See, Carter just cut two teeth and now his top molars are coming in, and he's taking it REALLY hard. He fusses, and cries and sits on my lap for the majority of the day, and he's been doing this for weeks now. Oragel, Tylenol... nothing helps. It is exhausting, for me and for him to I'm sure.
But when the sun is going down and its cool enough to go outside, Grumpy Molar Man turns into my sweet, happy, curious little bug again. It seems like that is the one lengthy period of time when he forgets his pain and has a little fun, and boy, am I grateful!
So when I'm totally frustrated and drained from dealing with Molar Man all day for who knows how much longer, I'll look at these pictures and smile. And then send him outside.

OH MAN! He is soooooo cute. How can you get upset with THAT???? :)
aaaahhh! I seriously want to squeeze him to death! Can't you go out early morning too?
When we don't have speech therapy appointments in the morning we usually go to the pool, and he's pretty happy there too. :)
That one with the cheeks sucked in is sooo cute! He is sure a cute kid. Thanks for the pics!
Thanks goodness there's something he loves so much!
I swear, this baby looks JUST like you.
Been there. Matilda is now 16 months, and she doesn't want me to put her down.
Those dimples are very very dangerous things! Sooo cute. Now can we see pictures of the new van pretty please? :)
You have such a talent with photography. I mean, he is cute regardless of the background. You, however, have the ability to capture the art in his expressions.
