Like a baby has an instinctual desire to chew on everything, Carter seems to have an instinctual urge to climb up anything and everything. He does pullups on the water dispenser on the fridge, he climbs on tables, up the pantry shelves, anything. So we took the kids to the park and Carter wanted to hang onto the monkey bars. So I held on to him while he hung on, but then he did a pullup and got his chin over the bar. Then he used my body as a ladder and climbed up to the top of the monkey bars and all the way across it, with us spotting him underneath. It was crazy! Thank goodness he can't get up there by himself or we'd be in big trouble.
