In honor of the 30th-something day of 100+ weather, I'm posting thoughts of colder times
In June of last year, we went on a cruise to Alaska. I was so upset that I couldn't lay out on the deck cause it was so cold. I'd do anything to do that now...

We took an excursion to see a glacier up close and personal.
And we felt the cool ocean wind on our faces while we were whale watching.
The ship took us through the Glacier Fjords and we got amazingly close to the glaciers. As we were having dinner, we watched huge chunks of ice fall from the glacier which sent waves rocking our huge ship. It was amazing! If you click on the picture and look at the far left of the glacier, you can see where a chunk has just fallen off and is starting to make waves.
LATER THAT SUMMER Brian had a client up in Denver, so I went up to visit him one weekend and we went camping. It was Oh My Gosh beautiful up there.
Brian and I camped and hiked a 9,000 ft. mountain.

One word...Jealous!
Ahhh...gotta love the cheesy vacation photos!
I am so JEALOUS!!!!! To visit Alaska has been my dream! We were not smart enough to do it before we had kids so now it will probably be like 20 years before I get to go there! But I will do it before I die! I have never been there, but I often tease about moving to Alaska b/c I hate the heat soooo much, and I lOVE cold weather! Okay, so this whole post was for me! My Aunt lives in Colorado Springs, and I have ALWAYS wanted to move there. Everytime we visit it makes me depressed to come home! Man, I am living through your pictures!
